Note to Readers
You might have noticed that a lot of older posts are missing photos and are less exciting to read without them. The photos were lost during a recent move from one blog service to another, but they still exist somewhere in cyberspace and on an external hard drive. I'm slowly working to add them back in, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I think it’s a 200 ml. I got it at the Container Store – they have a ton of nice glass jars. Bacon and butter indeed!
You really should try an old mayonnaise jar. It fits in the door of the fridge and won’t get buried in the back. It’s much handier!
And when it gets full (Whaaa?) you know it’s time to use it up. And if it ever runs out (or gets contaminated) it means you have to cook more bacon to bring back the balance in all things bacony.

Nina, I can only imagine the fun you could have with a mayo jar full of bacon fat. I’ll have to remember that the next time I get to the bottom of one.
