Pictures of Fall, Part II

Blog news: I now have a Recipe Index page!  After thinking that I had one for months, I clicked on the page only to realize that there was nothing there.  Sorry about that!  From now on you can find old posts by using the search function or by scanning through the index page.  I’m planning to work on the Links page next, but let me know if you have any other suggestions of changes that I can make.

Non-blog news: To fight off the boredom and frustration that go along with being unemployed, I’ve been trying to find more ways than just cooking and baking to entertain myself and I’ve taken pictures of some my fun-filled hours.  Most of the photos below were taken on my Droid using the Retro Camera app.

    gorgeous.
made sweet potato fries (in the oven) and fried green tomatoes (in the pan) last night.
    tasty, it was.

Yum! I made fried green tomatoes once (maybe last summer?), and it was not a success. I’ll have to try them again sometime. For now, I’ll just stick to the movie.

I know this is a cooking blog, but I love the hats! Not that I have any knitting skills, but what’s the pattern or whatever you use in knitting. I’m inspired.

    Is that your thumb?

    I love it!
